Cell Tech delivers 10g of creatine monohydrate, which is proven to help build more lean muscle €“ but how does that actually happen? Creatine, once consumed, becomes creatine phosphate in the body. This creatine phosphate plays a major role is helping the body produce energy for cellular functions, muscle contractions, and nerve impulse propagations. This energy source is called adenosine triphosphate, or ATP. As you perform physical activity, ATP is used up and broken down into adenosine diphosphate, or ADP. The ADP then needs to pick up an additional phosphate, which is where creatine phosphate comes in. Once the ADP picks up the creatine phosphate, it becomes ATP again €“ giving your body more fuel.
